Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Management professional who is passionate about sharing their expertise and shaping the next generation of product leaders.
• The ideal candidate will inspire learners to master essential skills, think strategically, and thrive in their product management careers.
• This role combines practical industry experience with a genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and guiding professionals through real-world product challenges.

Skills and Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product management, with proven success leading product launches and iterations across multiple industries.
• Strong command of Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, user research, product roadmapping, and analytics.
• Demonstrated passion for mentoring and developing talent within the product management community.
• Background in adult learning, curriculum design, and online teaching is highly desirable.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching or coaching remotely using tools like Google Meet, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for engaging learners and tracking progress.

Technical Requirements and Core Technical Skills
Product Management & Design Thinking:

• Expertise with roadmapping tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana for managing product development workflows.
• Proficiency in analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Google Analytics for tracking product performance.
• Advanced knowledge of OKRs, KPIs, A/B testing, predictive analysis, heatmaps, and data visualization techniques.
• Skilled in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing in collaboration with design teams.
• Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to scaling.
• Proven ability to teach user story mapping, prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, RICE), and MVP development.
• Mastery of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.

Product Leadership:

• Expertise in stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution, risk management, and crisis response.

Market and User Research:

• Strong background in conducting interviews, usability tests, and surveys for actionable insights.
• Proficient with tools like Qualtrics, Hotjar, and Lookback for user feedback and behavioral analysis.

Strategic Planning:

• Skilled in go-to-market strategies, product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and persona/journey mapping.
• Deep understanding of pricing models, competitive analysis, and revenue forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Proven track record of working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and timely product delivery.

Industry Experience:

• Broad experience across FinTech, EdTech, and HealthTech industries.

Soft Skills

• Communication: Ability to simplify complex product concepts and communicate effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Curriculum Design: Experience designing structured, hands-on course materials that reflect real-world product scenarios.
• Facilitation: Skilled in virtual teaching methodologies and fostering interactive, inclusive learning environments.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of guiding learners through practical product challenges that encourage critical thinking and innovation.
• Adaptability: Committed to staying current with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in product management and integrating them into teaching content.

Specialized Skills

• Agile & Lean Practices: Extensive experience applying Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies in real-world product settings.
• Metrics & KPIs: Deep understanding of key product metrics, engagement analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

• Industry Insight: Strong understanding of product management dynamics in technology, e-commerce, and healthcare sectors, providing contextual, industry-relevant learning.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 monthly.
