Overview

• We’re hiring a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support a Licensed Financial Insurance Advisor and Consultant.
• The ideal candidate will manage her online presence, create high-quality video and graphic content, handle engagement, and ensure consistent visibility across platforms to attract and retain clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit high-quality, converting videos (minimum 3 per week) to promote financial education and services.
• Design visually appealing graphics, carousels, and presentation slides for social media and webinars.
• Manage and grow social media pages through consistent posting, engagement, and storytelling.
• Repurpose video materials into multiple content formats (shorts, reels, posts).
• Plan, promote, and assist in hosting one webinar monthly (setup, invites, reminders, and follow-up).
• Send meeting reminders and appointment reminders to clients.
• Monitor social media insights and recommend improvements to boost visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the Advisor to ensure all content aligns with her brand voice and message.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management, video editing, and graphics design.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar design and editing tools.
• Strong understanding of content marketing and audience engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working remotely and within the Canadian time zone.
