Job Title: Shawarma Cook

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

• The Shawarma Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving freshly made shawarma and related fast foods.
• The role requires speed, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining high-quality standards, hygiene, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook shawarma, sandwiches, and other fast-food items according to recipes and company standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the cooking area, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor stock of ingredients, report shortages, and assist with restocking.
• Ensure proper food storage, labelling, and rotation to reduce waste.
• Maintain compliance with all hygiene, health, and safety standards (HACCP/NAFDAC/local).
• Work efficiently during peak hours to deliver orders on time.
• Support catering services and events as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 - 4 years of work experience.
• Proven experience as a cook specializing in shawarma and/or burgers.
• Knowledge of fast-food recipes, marinades, sauces, and grilling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic food hygiene and safety knowledge.
