Osun State University (UMOSUN) was established by the Osun State University (Establishment) Law of 2006. The University commenced academic activities simultaneously on the permanent sites of its six campuses located in the six geo-political zones of Osun State on 22nd September. 2007. The campuses are located in Osogbo (Main Campus), Ejigbo, Ifetedo, Ikire, Ipetu-Ijesa and Okuku.
Osun State University has the vision of becoming the biggest and the best University in Nigeria in the near future and has the goal of developing into a world-class institution of learning, given its multi-campus nature and its rapid expansion in the short period of its existence.

Requirements
The applicant must possess a good First Degree (Bachelor's) (not lower than Second-Class Lower Division) in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, plus at least twelve (12) years post-qualification experience, ten (10) of which must be in similar jobs;
Candidates should be registered with both COREN (Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers).
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and must have high computer proficiency.
Candidates must have served as Chief Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) for at least four (4) years in a University System;
Candidates must be able to initiate, execute, and/or coordinate all minor works, maintenance activities, and capital projects in the University.
Candidates must demonstrate evidence of accomplishment as a Chief Engineer in a University system with clear evidence of output both in IGR projects and externally funded projects;
Each applicant is to submit a 2500-word mission and vision statement.
The applicant must include: an application letter, a Curriculum Vitae, a mission and vision document, photocopies of credentials, attestations, and evidence of performance; and IX.
Must show ability to give effective leadership in a University of a complex nature.
