Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Executive to join our Power Retail Division.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving in-store sales, building strong customer relationships, and expanding the company’s retail footprint.
The role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment, demonstrates strong initiative, and can identify new market opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth:
Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets on a consistent basis.
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or outlet.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of customers through effective lead generation and follow-up.
Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and product suitability.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Retail Supervisor.
Customer Relationship Management:
Deliver excellent customer service and post-sale support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
Build and sustain long-term relationships with walk-in customers and repeat buyers.
Market & Brand Development:
Contribute to increasing the visibility and reputation of the brand within the retail space.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to provide feedback for strategic decision-making.
Participate in retail marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to boost awareness and sales.
Operational Excellence:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product supply, timely deliveries, and proper documentation.
Adhere to company policies, pricing standards, and retail operating procedures.
Innovation & Initiative:
Recommend improvements in sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and store operations.
Demonstrate adaptability to evolving business needs and retail innovations.
Actively contribute ideas for boosting sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–6 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the power, consumer electronics, or FMCG sector.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer orientation with problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
