Role Summary

• We are seeking two experienced and highly motivated Litigation Associates to join our legal team.
• The ideal candidates will have a strong background in courtroom advocacy, case management, and legal research, with proven ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• This role suits individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, precision in drafting, and a commitment to professional growth within a dynamic law practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court at all levels—trial and appellate—handling motions, applications, and full trials.
• Draft, review, and settle pleadings, affidavits, written addresses, briefs of argument, and other court documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-reasoned opinions, memoranda, and litigation strategy papers.
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with procedural timelines and filing requirements.
• Liaise effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in case strategy meetings, chambers discussions, and internal briefings.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates, law clerks, and interns.
• Uphold the firm’s core values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
• Work independently with minimal supervision when required.

Requirements

• LL.B and B.L (mandatory).
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years post-call litigation experience in a reputable law firm.
• Proven record of handling cases before High Courts and Appellate Courts; exposure to Supreme Court matters is an advantage.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• A proactive approach, strong work ethic, and ambition for career advancement.
