Job Title: Personal Assistant to the MD / CEO

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time
Gender: Male

About the Role

  • Our client is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Personal Assistant to provide direct administrative and executive support to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a trusted liaison, managing the MD’s schedule, communication, and high-level coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle confidential information with discretion, multitask effectively, and represent the MD’s office with professionalism and poise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD/CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and review correspondence, reports, presentations, and other confidential documents.
  • Serve as the first point of contact between the MD/CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and follow up on projects, action items, and deliverables across departments.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and meeting requests with a high level of professionalism.
  • Support the MD/CEO in organizing board meetings, management sessions, and key company events.
  • Maintain proper filing systems (digital and physical) for efficient information retrieval.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefing materials as requested.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar executive support role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting tools (Teams, Zoom).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage professionally with senior executives and partners.
  • Discretion, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information with maturity.
  • A proactive self-starter with keen attention to detail and a calm approach under pressure.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a corporate or fast-paced executive office environment.
  • Strong presentation and document preparation skills.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize under minimal supervision.

Remuneration
Competitive (N350,000 monthly (net pay) and commensurate with experience.
