Job Title: Accountant

Location: Sangotedo, Ajah - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Gender Preference: Female preferred (male candidates may also apply)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (Staff may occasionally be required to work on weekends to support company operations or meet deadlines)

Job Overview

• We seeks a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to strengthen its financial operations, ensure transparency, and support sustainable organizational development.
• The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily bookkeeping activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• The ideal candidate should be proactive, analytical, and capable of providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile all daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage company budgets, invoices, and payroll operations.
• Monitor expenses, maintain accurate accounting documentation, and ensure timely reporting.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
• Provide management with advice on cost control, cash flow management, and budget optimization.
• Liaise with vendors, banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders as required.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of practical accounting experience (real estate industry experience is an added advantage).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Must reside within Sangotedo, Ajah or surrounding areas.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting.

Salary Range

• N150,000 and above (based on experience).
