Job Title: Channel Sales Representative - Solar

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Experienced Channel Sales Representative to join our team.
• The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales of solar panels, batteries, inverters and related products to distributors and retailers across Nigeria.
• The role combines account management, business development, and partnership building, ensuring that distributors and retailers not only purchase regularly but also evolve into committed, long-term partners of the company.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through distributors and retailers.
• Proactively prospect, onboard, and manage new distributors and retail accounts.
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance to maximize product movement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key decision-makers.
• Provide product training, sales support, and promotional material to channel partners.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Develop distributor and retailer accounts into strategic partners with long-term agreements.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for joint marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions within the channel network.
• Provide regular reports and market feedback to management for strategy refinement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or distribution sales of solar and electronics.
• Strong network of distributors and customers.
• Strong Knowledge of distribution and retail market dynamics in Nigeria (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• High initiative, self-driven, and result-oriented.
• Ability to travel frequently to meet partners across territories.
