Job Title: Architect

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our construction firm.
• The ideal candidate who should be within 27-40 years will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing building projects from concept to completion.
• You will ensure that all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory standards while meeting clients’ needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs, drawings, and plans for construction projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and translate ideas into feasible design solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals, 3D renderings, and working drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Coordinate with engineers, quantity surveyors, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor design implementation, materials, and workmanship.
• Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
• Participate in tender preparation, cost estimation, and materials specification.
• Revise drawings and plans based on client feedback and site conditions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and design records throughout all stages.
• Provide technical guidance and design input during construction and project handover.

Education and Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Architecture or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Professional registration with ARCON, NIA, or an equivalent body is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other architectural design tools.
• Strong Knowledge of project management is required.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and sustainable building practices.
• Strong visualization, presentation, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of post-graduation experience in architectural design, preferably within the construction industry.
