Job Description

• This role requires a self-motivated individual with creative vision, collaborative skills.
• Our ideal candidates must have sufficient experience developing and executing content strategy, delivering high-quality content and storytelling from concept to production.
• To be successful, this position will require a seasoned Content Creator with a good grasp of pop culture, especially in Beauty and Hair.
• Ability to spot trend patterns ahead of time and leverage viral moments with significance to our Vision.
• You will generally be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall content and creative strategy for our Brand Assets.

Role description

• Developing and Executing Content Strategy
• Researching ideas and content framing
• Delivering High-Quality Content from Concept to Production
• Working with a range of Digital Formats
• Own creative user experience, usability and meeting customer needs with content
• Partnering with other teams to produce quality content
• Working closely with the MD to move from vision and ideas to production
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing.
• Drive reach, reputation and revenue with Content
• Acquire and adapt insight into content trends and keep strategies up-to-date

Qualifications

• Experience and demonstrated understanding of technology, social media tools and interest in learning the latest applications to enhance productivity.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as content creator preferably in the beauty industry
• Experience working in media/new media
• Experience in a content leadership role in beauty/fashion or within the media landscape
• Experience in using Video and Photo editing tools to create high-quality content
• Previous experience working in a structured / official capacity
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and empathy
• A high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
• Critical thinking, listening and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to grow with the organisation and take on increased responsibility as earned.
• A proactive, calm demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to do this job with great focus for at least one year.
