• In addition to processing sales, you will assist in managing inventory counts, processing returns, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role, preferably in a warehousing or retail environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to manage cash accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills, with experience in point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, enabling accuracy in transactions and record-keeping.
