Job Purpose
Weatherford has a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Excellence Engineer Completions & Liner Hanger Systems - SSA to join the team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
The Operations Excellence Engineer Completions and Liner Hanger Systems - SSA should be an experienced Oil and Gas Services Industry expert, with an excellent Completions and Liner Hanger Systems acumen, having deep technical understanding and know how to support our team of operation engineers, quality department, sales department and more.
The position will form the corner stone for ensuring Operational Excellence for Completion and Liner Hanger applications across Sub-Sahara Africa.
Responsibilities
Implement and sustain precise, up-to-date processes that ensure operational excellence and foster client satisfaction.
Establish and maintain standardized processes and systems throughout Completion segment product lines to enhance quality and streamline operations.
Regularly explore technology-driven solutions, including AI, to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
Maintain continuous technical support availability for all Completion segment staff to enable seamless operations.
Work closely with training and development function to maintain programs that develop exceptional multi-skilled field engineers and build a strong pipeline of future product line leaders.
Work in alignment with Quality to incorporate learnings into operational processes and drive consistent communication across all segment teams.
Engage with the Completion community on an ongoing basis to capture insights and act on operational challenges across international locations.
Leverage DDS, quarterly technical lessons-learned forums, AI etc. to embed best practices and significantly lower service quality incidents.
Deliver consistent MyAdvisor support globally, implementing standardized practices across segment product lines while driving initiatives to shorten S&R cycles and eliminate process variances.
Be familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
Drive investigations from location (NCR / CPAR).
Support operations on technical troubleshooting related with hardware/software/procedural management of change.
Serve as a link between the quality organization, operation and GBL Service Delivery Managers.
Ensure AccuView, OneSync, MyAdvisor, WISE and VSES process adhered to and actively used.
Take an active role in pre-job and post-job meetings. Drive process and procedure adherence across entire operation and activities. Review and feedback to process/procedure owner with improvement suggestions.
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
Provide technical support and input to new process, procedure and system improvements.

Requirements
Bachelors, preferably master's degree in science and technology.
10 years of Completions, Liner Hanger Systems and Well Construction experience.
Quality and service delivery experience.
Well versed in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc.
Experience with XaitPorter and Salesforce is desirable.
