Job Title: Design Assistant

Reports to: Creative Director

Key Responsibilities
Creative & Concept Development:

• Support the Head Designer in creating seasonal design concepts, mood boards, and color stories that reflect the Tinnquès aesthetic.
• Develop sketches, fabric explorations, and design illustrations for proposed collections.
• Conduct research on trends, silhouettes, and cultural inspirations, adapting them to the brand’s luxurious identity.

Technical Design Support:

• Produce precise technical drawings, garment specifications, and pattern references for the atelier.
• Collaborate with pattern makers and sample tailors to ensure designs are interpreted accurately and crafted to couture standard.

Collection & Presentation Preparation:

• Support the design team throughout sample development and collection assembly.
• Assist during lookbook shoots, private fittings, fashion presentations, and shiitake.
• Ensure all garments are presentation-ready, steamed, labeled, styled, and handled with care.

Team Support:

• Support the creative process by ensuring smooth coordination and communication within the design and production teams.

Requirements

• A Degree or professional background in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a luxury or bespoke fashion environment.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and digital design skills (Adobe Illustrator, Procreate).
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern development, and finishing techniques for high-end couture.
• Keen eye for detail, proportion, and fabric movement, consistent with Tinnquès’ craftsmanship.
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working harmoniously with pattern makers, beaders, and production teams.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a passion for creating artful, timeless fashion.
