We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Team Lead (Salary Loans / Wealth Management)

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Benue
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead – Asset Creation and Wealth Management to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the consumer lending team focused on both public and private sectors.
  • This role is critical to improving risk asset sales, loan disbursement, and customer acquisition, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving the company’s credit portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Credit team
  • Continuously coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Track team performance and ensure individual and collective sales targets are met.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of growth indicators to optimize product and team performance.
  • Carry out market and customer research to support the development of competitive products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Strategically grow the company’s customer base and manage lead generation and conversion.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.
  • Drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention across all product lines.
  • Monitor sales volume, upselling and cross-selling rates, and overall team performance.

Performance Indicators

  • New lead generation and quality sales opportunities.
  • Customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Sales volume per team member and team-wide.
  • Frequency and quality of client engagement.
  • Achievement of periodic sales targets.
  • Success in upselling and cross-selling initiative

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution; postgraduate and professional qualifications are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in sales and marketing of financial products, particularly in consumer lending.
    • Proven track record of building sales territories and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong industry network and solid understanding of the financial services market.
    • Experience in managing and motivating a diverse sales team.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent leadership, sales, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong customer relationship management and client service orientation.
    • Ability to develop effective sales strategies and optimize team performance.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N220,000 - N300,000 monthly.
