Job Summary

• The Business Manager (Sales & Customer Service) is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and ensuring superior customer experience.
• The role involves overseeing the sales and customer service teams, setting strategic sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, and aligning commercial activities with the company’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
• Supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
• Identify and develop new markets, customers, and business opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular sales reports for management.
• Oversee the customer service function to ensure timely and professional handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and orders.
• Establish and maintain high service standards that enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
• Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Analyze customer feedback to improve products, processes, and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
• Develop loyalty programs or initiatives to enhance repeat business and customer engagement.
• Track performance against business objectives and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Set clear performance goals and conduct regular appraisals.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric culture within the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
• 5 – 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of B2B and B2C customer dynamics

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems.
