ETC Workforce Services Limited - Our client organization is on a mission to redefine how individuals and businesses manage deliveries across Africa. They are building a real-time delivery management platform designed to simplify logistics, enhance transparency, and improve user experiences across the value chain—from merchants to drivers to customers.

As they prepare to publicly launch their product, they are recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to lead and execute their go-to-market (GTM) strategy in the capacity below:

Job Title: Product Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Teams: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate should be able to transition seamlessly from strategic planning to hands-on implementation in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and lead comprehensive GTM plans for product launches, new features, and market entry initiatives.
  • Customer & Market Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Define compelling product narratives and value propositions tailored to various customer segments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align product roadmap priorities with customer needs and ensure successful feature rollouts.
  • Campaign Development: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid, content, and partnerships) that drive product awareness, engagement, and adoption.
  • Marketing Enablement: Create product collateral such as pitch decks, landing pages, FAQs, blog posts, and internal documentation to support sales enablement and customer education.
  • Data & Analytics: Utilize data and analytics tools to track campaign performance, customer acquisition, and user behavior, and apply insights to optimize strategies.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching impactful campaigns.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or GTM roles—preferably within tech startups, SaaS, logistics, or consumer services.
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced or unstructured environments.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Ability to move from ideation to execution independently.
  • Strong curiosity around customer behavior and product-market fit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in deriving insight from data.
  • Strong collaborative skills across multiple teams.
  • High sense of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in delivery, logistics, fintech, or marketplace environments is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Segment, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Business Suite, etc.
  • Exposure to marketing within African or emerging markets.
