Your Mission
Launch and scale a GTM engine that acquires active business users in record time, drives revenue growth, and positions straitPay as the trusted solution for Nigerian SMEs making international payments.
What success looks like:
Active business users acquired in record time (metrics to be discussed during interviews).
Clear product-market fit and scalable conversion processes.
Consistent revenue and transaction volume growth month over month.
Summary
You’ll lead the growth strategy for a mission-driven fintech company, working directly with the founders to take straitPay from launch to scale. If you’re ready to build something meaningful and impactful in African fintech — this is the role for you.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and lead the GTM strategy.
Own commercial KPIs — including acquisition, activation, and retention.
Oversee multi-channel user acquisition efforts.
Lead messaging, positioning, and brand communication.
Build partnerships that drive distribution and brand trust.
Manage GTM budget and vendor relationships.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops to align the roadmap with market feedback.
Report on performance to the leadership team and investors.
What you'll bring to the table
5–7years in growth, sales, or marketing roles (bonus if in Fintech or SaaS).
A deep understanding of Nigerian SMEs and what moves them.
Proven ability to generate and convert leads in cost-effective ways.
Strong ownership mindset and bias for action.
Excellent communicator — written, visual, and verbal.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in a VC-backed startup or high-growth company.
Familiarity with payments, FX, or B2B financial services.
Existing network in the Nigerian SME ecosystem.
Light experience in product marketing or user onboarding flows.
