Our client is looking for a talented, resilient and influential candidate with some management experience to join the theirteam and build upon the already successful proposition.
This role presents a truly exciting prospect for a driven and ambitious candidate looking for that 'next level’ and keen to operate at the highest end of the scale.
The role comes with an attractive remuneration package and working hours are 9AM to 5PM Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to commit to longer working hours and weekends as well as local and international travel on short notice when necessary.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Facilities (property/portfolio) Management:
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the provision of facilities services to the properties they manage.
To regularly liaise with occupiers and be the principal point of contact for advice and guidance in connection with the day-to-day physical operation of the building.
Inform service providers of any occupier matters that may affect Tenant’s use of property and ensure that reactive maintenance and day-to-day service requirements are undertaken in a timely, cost effective manner and performed against agreed standards.
To work in accordance with established procedures for out of hours cover and emergencies.
To ensure that the procurement of all supplies and services at the property is the highest standards for the best price.
Be familiar with all cooling, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment in each building and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment.
To maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies, organise and co-ordinate fire evacuation and bomb drills.
Establish and maintain proper records in accordance with best practice rules.
Responsible for routine correspondence using standard documents and templates as appropriate.
Human Resource Management:
Overall responsibility for health and safety and delivering operational excellence
Passionate driving performance from subordinates as well as coaching and developing team members
To inspire everyone around you to be the very best they can be Identifying efficiencies with employee benefits resulting in better outcomes for employees whilst reducing cost to the business
Developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies such as key performance indicators for staff appraisals.
Project support:
Support with the establishment of project briefs through review of client publications and advise on timeframes, statutory requirements, submissions dates and any other planning requirements
Prepare, submit and attend opening of project bids where necessary.
Where suppliers or subcontractors are appointed, act as contract administrator.
Ensure health and safety throughout projects, initiate regular progress meetings, reporting against budgets and timescales.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget to the standards expected.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
Educated to Undergraduate level in a Business and Management, Engineering or Facilities / Real Estate Management related subject with at least a 2:1 classification.
Proficiency in Microsoft office tools Influential and effective leadership skills.
Proven experience in motivating teams to succeed against set objectives / metrics.
Proven track record in shareholder delivery with evidence of income growth, cost control, change management and team engagement/development.
Effective collaboration and team work with senior peers across local and national operations, with a focus on maximising operational delivery
Excellent delivery of customer service - putting the customer at the heart of the operation Sound commercial and financial acumen
A proven track record in delivering all three objectives as laid out by senior management.
Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 monthly (depending on experience).
