Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee procurement operations for both Proforce Intelligence and Proforce Galaxies Systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sourcing plans, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of IT equipment, components, and technical materials that support the companies’ cybersecurity, AI, software, and satellite system operations.
This role requires a strong background in IT hardware, engineering materials, and technology procurement, along with proven expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for both Proforce Intelligence and Proforce Galaxies operational needs.
Source and acquire IT hardware, software, networking devices, and specialized engineering components essential to both divisions’ projects and daily operations.
Manage the entire procurement lifecycle—from demand planning, sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting, to delivery and payment reconciliation.
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring optimal quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Oversee the procurement of components required by AI engineers, GIS analysts, satellite developers, embedded systems engineers, and cybersecurity teams.
Monitor inventory and forecast material needs to avoid shortages or excesses.
Negotiate and manage contracts to secure the most favorable commercial terms.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and price catalogs.
Collaborate closely with IT, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams to align procurement with project and operational demands.
Continuously improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on IT hardware, engineering components, and technology-related materials.
Proven experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and sourcing strategy development.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or equivalent).
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as CIPS, CPP, or CPM.
Experience working in a technology-driven, defense, or aerospace organization.
Knowledge of international sourcing, import/export processes, and regulatory compliance.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 monthly (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
