Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our laundry outlet team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a positive experience while managing inquiries, complaints, and transactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:
Greet and assist customers as they enter the laundry outlet.
Provide information about services offered, pricing, and promotions.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Transaction Management:
Process customer orders, including drop-off and pick-up of laundry items.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
Maintain an organized and efficient checkout area.
Service Quality:
Ensure that all laundry services meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction with services provided.
Resolve any service-related issues promptly and effectively.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Relay customer feedback to management for service improvement.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and service requests.
Assist in managing customer databases and loyalty programs.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Keep the customer service area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a hygienic environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on service offerings and best practices.
Assist with laundry operations as needed, including sorting and folding items.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or service environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant technology.
Personal Attributes:
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
May require standing for extended periods and lifting laundry items.
