Identify, develop, and maintain business relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential partners.
Proactively seek new business opportunities to increase occupancy rates, banquet bookings, and revenue streams.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Handle guest and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular follow-ups after events or bookings to ensure feedback and future business.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market intelligence on competitors’ rates, promotions, and marketing strategies.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the hospitality market.
Prepare and present market reports to management to aid in strategic decision-making.
Sales Presentations and Proposals:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate and close sales contracts in line with hotel policies and profit margins.
Work closely with the revenue management team to ensure pricing aligns with business strategy.
Promotions and Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing department on promotional campaigns, social media activities, and special offers.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Distribute sales collateral and promotional materials to potential clients.
Coordination with Internal Departments:
Liaise with operations, front office, food & beverage, and banquet departments to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
Communicate client needs and expectations clearly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client contacts, and contracts.
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports detailing achieved targets, leads generated, and conversion rates.
Use CRM software or hotel sales systems to track and manage client accounts.
Revenue Optimization:
Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities across various hotel services (e.g., spa, restaurants, conference halls).
Develop packages and group deals to maximize occupancy and banquet utilization.
Customer Service Excellence:
Uphold the brand’s service standards by ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism and hospitality.
Resolve customer complaints tactfully and escalate unresolved issues to management.
Team Collaboration and Training:
Support the Sales Manager in implementing departmental goals and strategies.
Participate in regular sales meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Assist in mentoring junior sales team members where necessary.
