Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Ogbaku, Mbaitoli, Imo 
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee the company’s overall security strategy and operations.
• The ideal candidate will be a retired senior officer from the Nigerian Armed Forces, Police, or other recognized security service, with proven experience in corporate security management.
• The CSO will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective security policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and information across all operational locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce robust security frameworks, policies, and SOPs across the organization.
• Oversee and coordinate all security personnel and operations across facilities, depots, and field locations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate security threats.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and relevant authorities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Supervise investigations into incidents, breaches, or thefts and ensure prompt and appropriate resolution.
• Monitor CCTV, patrol systems, access controls, and security technology to ensure efficiency.
• Lead and train security teams for professionalism, alertness, and responsiveness.
• Prepare and present periodic security reports to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Criminology, Security Studies, or related field
• Professional certifications in Security Management, Risk Assessment, or HSE will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years’ progressive experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Retired senior officerfrom the Nigerian Police Force, Armed Forces, DSS, or a reputable paramilitary agency will be considered with advantage
• Proven experience in managing large-scale or multi-location security operations.
