Job Summary

• We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Officer to join our team.
• The QC/QA Officer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of our workwear products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, including fabrics, threads, and accessories, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections at various stages of production to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues in real-time and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation, including inspection checklists, quality control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct final inspections of finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards before shipping.
• Monitor and analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Train production staff on quality control procedures, product specifications, and quality standards to ensure consistent adherence to quality requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints and returns, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements related to workwear manufacturing, and incorporate them into our quality management system.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control/quality assurance roles within the textile or garment manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with international quality standards and regulations applicable to workwear manufacturing, such as ISO 9001 etc.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve complex quality problems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proximity to VGC, Lagos State

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
