Job Title: Factory Production and Site Measurement Supervisor
The Factory Production and Site Measurement Supervisor (Contract) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of outputs.
The role also involves coordinating and conducting precise on-site measurements to support fabrication and installation works. The position requires a detail-oriented personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Production Oversight:
Supervise daily factory operations to ensure production targets, schedules, and quality standards are met.
Plan and allocate resources (materials, manpower, and equipment) for optimal productivity.
Monitor production workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and waste reduction.
Ensure all factory operations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Inspect finished products to confirm they meet design specifications and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with design and procurement teams to ensure the availability of materials and drawings.
Site Measurement & Coordination:
Conduct accurate on-site measurements and verify dimensions based on approved drawings or specifications.
Translate site data into clear and precise fabrication details for production teams.
Work closely with project managers, clients, and installers to resolve measurement discrepancies or design adjustments.
Maintain and calibrate all measurement tools and equipment for accuracy.
Reporting & Documentation:
Keep detailed records of production schedules, material usage, and site measurements.
Prepare and submit daily or weekly progress reports to management.
Communicate proactively on potential delays, resource needs, or technical challenges.
Team Supervision & Development:
Lead, guide, and motivate factory and site teams to achieve productivity and quality objectives.
Enforce discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company standards among production staff.
Conduct basic training for staff on production efficiency and measurement techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
OND in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
1–3 years’ experience in factory production supervision, fabrication, or site measurement (preferably in furniture, construction, or interior fit-out industries).
Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and quality control procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proven experience managing both factory and on-site operations.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CAD or measurement software (advantageous).
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
