We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive / Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and promoting the company's credit products and services.
  • This role requires a proactive individual who can drive growth, close deals, and support the company's mission to expand its client base and market reach.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the company’s customer base.
  • Promote and sell credit products (e.g., personal loans, SME loans, salary advances) to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., credit assessment, collections, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in financial services or credit/lending.
  • Strong understanding of credit products and the lending market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
