Job Title: Quality Control Superintendent

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Superintendent to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of all production processes within our plastic manufacturing facility.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality inspection and control, with a solid understanding of manufacturing operational standards and safety procedures in a plastics industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality control operations and ensure adherence to company standards, product specifications, and industry regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate raw materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures and testing protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Conduct regular audits of processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
• Support training programs for production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and promote a culture of safety across the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 – 5 years of experience in quality inspection and control within a plastic manufacturing company or closely related industry.
• Proven ability to manage quality systems, inspections, and audits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems (QMS).
• Experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices will be an added advantage. (with a proven certificate i.e. in HSE 1, 2 and 3)
• Must be willing to relocate and work on-site in Onitsha.
