Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Creative Assistant who will be working directly with the Founder and other key teams to contribute to and execute the brand's creative vision.
This position requires a proactive and strategic individual who can translate market insights into actionable plans.
The ideal candidate will work hand-in-hand with our production and social media teams to ensure that every design, product, and marketing campaign is cohesive and effectively represents our brand.
Key Responsibilities
Creative and Brand Development:
Proactively analyse and understand our brand's core aesthetic and future direction to independently develop new collection concepts and proposals.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the brand by conducting in-depth research on emerging fashion trends and competitor activities.
Present compelling creative concepts, including mood boards, colour palettes, and material selections, for brainstorming sessions and review.
Ensure all designs and brand-related materials are aligned with our unique brand voice, maintaining a consistent and cohesive image.
Design & Production Execution:
Work closely with the production team to translate creative concepts into actionable production plans, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship and quality.
Supervise the end-to-end production process for designs, from initial prototype to final garment, ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to design specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any production challenges in partnership with the production team to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Marketing & Visual Communication:
Collaborate with the social media team to develop and execute marketing strategies that effectively launch and promote new collections.
Contribute to the creation of all creative content for digital platforms (e.g., website, social media, email newsletters), ensuring it is on-brand and engaging.
Assist in coordinating and executing photoshoots and marketing campaigns, managing logistics, and on-set direction to achieve the desired visual outcome.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the founder, including calendar management, correspondence, and project coordination.
Act as a key point of contact for external collaborators, ensuring smooth communication and project flow.
Demonstrate a high level of independent initiative by anticipating needs and proactively taking on tasks to support the brand's growth and daily operations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: 2 - 4 years proven experience in a creative or marketing role, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods industry.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear creative vision and understanding of brand building.
Exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete, actionable plans.
Proficiency in design and editing software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with precision.
