Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Ibadan - Lagos way, Oyo

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the feed and food production process.
• The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and other plant machinery.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of machines to meet production standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements

• OND / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or feed production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and plant maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Salary
