Dumper/ Excavator / Pale-Loader Operators at a Nigerian Group of Companies

A private Nigerian Group of companies comprising six Business Units spanning stone quarrying, property development, hospitality and warehousing /retail businesses requires a highly motivated and entrepreneurial minded individual who will drive the daily activities of the group and ensure that they are effective, profitable and timely to fill the below position:

Job Title: Dumper/ Excavator / Pale-Loader operators

Job Descriptions

• The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers assisting in various areas running a quarry plant which may include operating other equipment and assisting with the scale operations and testing materials within the Quarry.
• Ensure a sate work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project.
• Safe dump truck delivery of aggregate material to customers.
• Demonstrate good people skill in delivering and collecting for materials.
• Loading customers trucks or the plant as needed using a rubber tire or truck loader of various size
• Physically working in aggregate production plant as needed.
• Working with customers, taking orders, and collecting payment as the back-up scale house operator as needed
• Operate various types of equipment such as skid steer, man lift, forklift,water truck, dump truck, and loader
• Run scales for weighing trucks both loaded and unloaded with plant material.
• Lift and carry up to SO tones repetitively and unassisted, sit, bend, squat, kneel, walk uneven terrain, crouch, climb ladders or other motions to accomplish task.
• Responsible for inspections, cleanup and routine maintenance

Experience

• Pass pre-employement drug screen check.
• Pass a Pre employment "fit for Work" physical.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience with a quarry or construction firm
• Mining experience is an asset
