Job Title: Junior Auditor

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Auditor to join our Audit, Quality Control, and Governance Team.
The ideal candidate will support the execution of internal audit assignments, conduct compliance checks across stations, and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
This role demands integrity, keen observation, and analytical ability to identify discrepancies, enforce compliance, and promote continuous improvement in operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting routine and surprise audits of retail stations, depots, and haulage operations.
Review sales, stock, and cash reconciliation reports to verify accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Identify variances in product volumes, shortages, and leakages and document audit findings accordingly.
Participate in quality control checks to ensure all products, operations, and transactions comply with company and regulatory standards.
Monitor adherence to safety, operational, and financial procedures as outlined in the HR and Operational Policy.
Track and report recurring operational issues and recommend preventive measures.
Verify station and departmental documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely submission.
Support in the preparation of periodic audit reports and dashboards for management review.
Conduct post-incident verification and assist in implementing corrective action plans.
Collaborate with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and HSE units to uphold quality assurance standards.
Carry out any other assignments as delegated by the Senior Auditor or Head of Audit & Compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–7years of relevant Auditing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
Integrity, confidentiality, and a high sense of accountability.
