Our head office is strategically located at KM 10, Onitsha–Owerri Road, Ogbaku, Imo State, serving as the operational hub for our expanding network.
The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely transporting petroleum products and other goods between depots and retail stations, ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations, product handling standards, and company policies.
The role demands accountability, vigilance, and a high sense of responsibility to ensure accurate and timely delivery with zero loss or incident.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company trucks safely and efficiently to designated depots and stations.
Ensure accurate loading and offloading of petroleum products in accordance with company procedures.
Inspect vehicles daily before trips to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
Report any vehicle faults, leaks, or breakdowns immediately to the Haulage and Maintenance Department.
Maintain proper journey logs, trip records, and delivery notes for every trip executed.
Ensure no fuel shortage, diversion, or contamination during transport.
Adhere strictly to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and company operational standards.
Assist in verifying product quality and volume at loading and discharge points.
Maintain discipline, integrity, and professionalism while representing the company on the road.
Perform other logistics-related tasks as may be assigned by the Head, Haulage Operations or Fleet Supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE / WAEC Certificate (Higher Qualification like HND, BSc is an added advantage).
Valid Class “E” or “G” driver’s license and other required permits.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ proven experience as a Truck/Tanker Driver in petroleum haulage or similar heavy-duty operations.
Sound knowledge of road safety rules, routes, and delivery procedures.
Must have basic mechanical knowledge of trucks.
Must be physically fit, alert, and safety-conscious.
Strong sense of honesty, discipline, and accountability.
