Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive the business growth of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage Systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in real estate, industrial, and commercial sales, and maintain close working relationships with government authorities, housing and construction departments, and power utilities.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to expand market share and deliver integrated energy storage solutions to key clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market entry and sales strategies for C&I energy storage products and integrated solutions.
Identify, engage, and manage key customers in real estate development, industrial facilities, and commercial sectors.
Build and maintain high-level relationships with government agencies, construction and housing authorities, energy regulators, and power distribution companies (DISCOs).
Collaborate with EPCs, distributors, and solution partners to deliver turnkey energy storage projects.
Manage the complete sales lifecycle — including lead generation, technical proposal coordination, contract negotiation, and project handover.
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, after-sales) to ensure solutions meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Monitor policy changes, incentive programs, and energy regulations affecting C&I energy storage deployment.
Prepare periodic reports on market insights, competitor activities, and sales performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in B2B sales within energy, solar, or industrial equipment sectors, with proven success in large project sales.
Established network and working experience with government departments (housing/construction, energy/power authorities, regulators) is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of C&I energy storage systems, distributed generation, or microgrid applications.
Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Fluent in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
Willingness to travel as needed for business development activities.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in working with public-private partnership (PPP) or government-led energy projects.
Familiarity with local permitting processes, energy policy frameworks, and grid-connection procedures.
