Job Description
We’re expanding our reach and looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to drive client acquisition, strengthen partnerships, and help us grow our corporate and event décor business.
Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for generating new business leads, building client relationships, and closing sales for both Christmas and non-Christmas corporate décor projects.
The role requires creativity, strategy, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure every client enjoys a premium experience from first contact to project completion.
You will work closely with the Event Coordinator to deliver seamless service, from client briefing to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Acquisition:
Identify, engage, and convert potential clients for both Christmas and corporate décor services.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and trends.
Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation and proposal presentation to negotiation and closing deals.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and track progress using CRM or internal reporting systems.
Follow up on client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring high client satisfaction.
Marketing & Brand Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and attract clients.
Collaborate with the social media and event teams to promote décor projects online.
Attend events, exhibitions, and client meetings to represent the company and grow brand awareness.
Assist in creating promotional materials, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work hand-in-hand with the Event Coordinator to ensure smooth project handovers and execution.
Provide weekly sales reports and monthly performance summaries to the Operations Supervisor.
Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns and strategic growth initiatives.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing (preferably in events, décor, hospitality, or creative industries).
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and closing skills.
Creative and detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and social media marketing.
Availability to resume immediately.
Work Mode:
Hybrid role – when not in the office, you will be expected to work on-site or visit client locations as required.
Flexibility is key, especially during the festive season when client demand is high.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month (depending on experience)
