Responsible for sourcing quality materials, managing vendor relations, tracking inventory, and coordinating logistics to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.
The role demands excellent organization, attention to detail, and proactive coordination to maintain efficient supply and stock systems that support Konkere Design’s growing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials (cement blends, aggregates, pigments, reinforcing materials, metals, wood supports, finishes, packaging).
Maintain approved supplier lists and performance scorecards (quality, lead time, cost).
Implement and maintain the inventory system (e.g., spreadsheet or basic inventory software): receive, inspect, label and store incoming materials.
Maintain accurate stock cards/bin cards; perform weekly cycle counts and monthly full stocktakes.
Set and manage reorder points, safety stock levels and lead-time buffers for critical items.
Track material consumption vs production to flag variances and waste.
Liaise with transport providers and drivers; supervise loading/unloading to minimize product damage
Monitor procurement spend and produce weekly/monthly procurement & inventory reports.
Ensure all procurement and storage practices comply with safety standards; ensure secure storage for hazardous items.
Maintain inventory of tools and equipment; track assets assigned to production.
Qualifications & Experience
OND / HND / BSc in Procurement, Fine Art, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
1–3 years practical experience in procurement/logistics/inventory (manufacturing, furniture, construction or similar preferred).
Familiarity with basic inventory or ERP systems (or willingness to implement).
Proficient with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables desirable).
Must be based in or willing to work in Ogbomoso

Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping.
Good physical stamina, able to supervise warehouse/receiving.
Problem solver, ability to prioritize under pressure.
Clear communicator and team player.
Salary
N50,000 - N80,000 per month.
