We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Commercial – Public Sector to lead our commercial operations and drive strategic growth across public sector businesses.
This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, building strong partnerships with government and institutional clients, and ensuring profitability across diverse business units.
As a leader in digitalization and transformation solutions, we empower public institutions to modernize operations, enhance service delivery, and achieve greater efficiency through enterprise and SaaS technologies. The Head of Commercial – Public Sector will play a central role in positioning our company as the preferred partner for government digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Growth:
Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy aligned with the company’s vision, growth targets, and market opportunities.
Identify and prioritize high-value markets, sectors, and client segments for business expansion.
Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, cross-selling, and strategic partnerships.
Sales Leadership & Performance Management:
Lead and inspire the commercial, sales, and business development teams to achieve ambitious performance targets.
Design and implement scalable sales frameworks, performance metrics, and incentive structures.
Oversee key enterprise accounts and negotiate large-scale digital transformation contracts.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:
Build and manage high-impact partnerships with technology vendors, channel partners, and system integrators.
Identify co-marketing, co-selling, and innovation opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
Product Commercialization & Market Positioning:
Collaborate with product, technology, and marketing teams to define pricing models, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for SaaS and enterprise offerings.
Translate technical solutions into clear commercial value propositions for clients and stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and market dynamics to ensure strategic agility.
Customer & Market Intelligence:
Leverage data-driven insights to anticipate client needs, emerging technologies, and digital transformation trends.
Champion customer success by ensuring delivery alignment between commercial promises and operational execution.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to shape company strategy, culture, and growth roadmap.
Mentor and build a high-performance commercial organization rooted in accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial leadership, sales, or business development roles within technology, SaaS, or enterprise solutions sectors.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and large enterprise deal closures.
Strong understanding of digital transformation, SaaS business models, enterprise software, and B2B technology sales cycles.
Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
