Job Purpose
The Real Estate Professional is responsible for managing property sales, leasing, acquisition, marketing, and client relations to drive profitability and growth.
The role involves market research, negotiation, and strategic management of real estate portfolios to optimize value and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Property Sales and Leasing:
Manage and execute property sales, lease negotiations, and renewals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospective clients.
Conduct property inspections, valuations, and client viewings.
Prepare and manage listing documents, lease agreements, and transaction records.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct real estate market studies to identify trends, pricing, and investment opportunities.
Provide data-driven insights and advice on property acquisition, development, and disposition.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of zoning laws, property regulations, and market conditions.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, landlords, and tenants.
Provide professional advisory services and after-sale support.
Develop marketing strategies to attract potential buyers, tenants, and investors.
Marketing and Business Development:
Promote properties through advertising, social media, events, and professional networks.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Represent the organization at exhibitions, property fairs, and networking events.
Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure all property transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Manage documentation such as title deeds, lease agreements, and client contracts.
Liaise with government agencies, surveyors, lawyers, and financial institutions.
Performance Indicators
Achievement of sales and leasing targets.
Growth in client base and portfolio value.
Timely completion of transactions and compliance with standards.
Client satisfaction and retention levels.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., NIESV, ARCON, RICS) is an added advantage.
3–5 years’ experience in property sales, leasing, or real estate advisory.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of property markets and investment principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Customer-focused with strong networking abilities.
