Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Brief
We seek to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for analyzing budgets, preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with contractors and vendors, and supporting effective project delivery. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and relationship management skills.
Role Responsibilities
Identify potential financial and construction risks.
Document project progress, materials, and reports.
Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws.
Undertake cost analysis for all BPL projects.
Document design changes and update budgets accordingly.
Assist in establishing client requirements and conducting feasibility studies.
Advise on procurement strategies.
Perform risk analysis, value management, and cost control.
Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
Prepare tenders and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the Project Managers and Design Team.
Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Factor in health and safety regulations in all contract activities.
Prepare summary reports for clients and other stakeholders.
Value completed work and coordinate payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
Advise on outstanding contractual claims and payments due.
Prepare and submit regular project cost and progress reports.
Requirements
B.Sc. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in engineering, estimation, or finance is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organizational, planning, and strategic skills.
Good networking, numerical, and data analysis competence
