Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities for AxonVault.
You will execute strategic sales plans, build partnerships, expand market presence, and manage commercial engagements with corporate clients, development organizations, and government agencies.
This role requires a self-driven professional who can manage business pipelines end-to-end and deliver consistent revenue results.
Primary Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Execution:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and market growth targets.
Conduct prospecting, client visits, and relationship management to close high-value deals.
Manage the full sales lifecycle — from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
Maintain updated sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance reports using CRM tools.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong partnerships with government agencies, corporate organizations, NGOs, and development programs.
Support the BD team in preparing partnership proposals, MoUs, and bids.
Represent AxonVault at conferences, trade events, exhibitions, and forums to expand visibility.
Collaborate with Tech, Operations, Finance, and Strategy teams to deliver proposals and execute projects.
Commercial Strategy & Market Intelligence:
Conduct market research to understand client needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
Support market entry strategies for new sectors and regions.
Work with internal teams on pricing and financial modeling to ensure project profitability.
Track revenue targets, performance metrics, and commercial outcomes.
Proposal Development & Bidding:
Prepare and submit proposals, EOIs, tenders, and RFP documents.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather needed data and documents.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of commercial documents.
Reporting & Coordination:
Present monthly reports on sales performance and pipeline health.
Ensure strong communication and coordination across departments.
Serve as a liaison between AxonVault and key clients to ensure satisfaction and contract compliance.
