Summary
We are currently seeking to employ a proactive, versatile and energetic Sales and Marketing Manager for our business.
The qualified candidate will work hand in hand with the General Manager in conversing for more sales, penetrating new markets and ensuring we deliver our brand promise.
Responsibilties
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Pro-active Sales and Marketing Manager's role involves proactively seeking transient and group opportunities with significant revenue potential
Managing the entire sales and marketing team in ensuring proper strategy is in place to drive revenue and business continuity.
Organizing & participating in site visits and completion of all follow-up actions & documentation.
The manager actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue and achieves personal and team-related revenue goals.
Selling, supporting, and advising on all aspects of events.
Coordination, promotion, and growth of the property’s attractions.
Increasing brand awareness across all mediums.
Make lists of potential clients and conduct surveys to identify guests actively seeking a hotel
Contact guest via calls or arranged meetings to discover their needs and requirements
Will ensure proper turnover of business for timely service delivery and drive customer/guest loyalty by providing excellent service through each experience, aiming to enhance customer relationships and grow accounts for the company.
Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the hotel
Provide guests with a list of available services and their accompanying prices and offer discounts when necessary
Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate service that best meets their specifications and needs
Oversee the booking and reservation of space in a hotel to ensure availability and proper arrangement
Collaborate with members of staff to ensure clients have a good time
Monitor the guest service quality of the hotel to ensure customers are tended to appropriately
Conduct price negotiations with guests on behalf of the hotel management to reach a favorable bargain for both parties.
Maintain contact with clients to obtain feedback and to discuss opportunities for future business deals
Set annual budgets and implement strategies effective for achieving set targets.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills
A Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or a related professional area.
3 years’ experience in a managerial role as a strong sales analyst.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Confident communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivator with the ability to achieve set goals.
MUST have Hotel Operation Experience.
A Can-Do attitude.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets from Hospitality sector.
Proficient in office suite package.
