We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Radio Transmission Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations and maintenance of backhaul links;
• Install and maintain base stations.
• Carry out pre-installation Technical Site Survey during which the following information and more are required:
  • Type out-door infrastructure, that is, tower or pole
  • The height of pole or tower
  • Co-ordinates of the pole or tower
  • Availability of the space on the pole or tower
  • Availability of space for indoor equipment
  • Power source- DC or AC
  • Availability of power with back-up capabilities
  • Customers’ operational hours, e.t.c
• Configure and install microwave radios, ubiquity, Ericson radios, Ceragon radios, VSAT, Mikrotik routers, cisco routers and switches, Linux or any other platform as will be required according to project needs
• Decomission radio and other equipment
• Engage in support – troubleshooting
• Neatly and accurately submit to your Line Manger, a daily report of your activities
• When necessary, work with NOC, IP Configuration, Optimization and other relevant units
• When necessary, work out of station
• Discharge your duties ethically and professionally
• Project a good image of the company
• Show and deploy professional knowledge and technical skill in service delivery
• Show innovation and critical thinking in the course of discharging your duties and
• Carry out any other tasks/ duties as may be assigned by your HoD or Management
