Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: Enugu

Job Description

• The ICT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons in technology and coding, equipping students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.

Job Duties

• Teach ICT lessons across assigned classes, balancing theory and practice.
• Design and deliver coding lessons using Scratch and other child-friendly platforms.
• Introduce students to basic programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving through technology.
• Support students in developing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking using digital tools.
• Ensure proper use and care of ICT equipment, including classroom devices and software.
• Work with other teachers to integrate ICT into different subjects.
• Stay updated on new educational technologies and recommend tools that enhance learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Teaching certification and relevant classroom experience.
• Strong knowledge of Scratch and other children’s coding platforms.
• Ability to simplify complex ICT concepts for young learners.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring creativity through technology.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in educational technology.
