We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner and Office Assistant

Location: Egbeda
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Cleaner and Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the office premises. The role also provides general administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitation Duties:

  • Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and other common areas daily.
  • Ensure all surfaces, furniture, windows, and floors are dust-free and well-maintained.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • Replenish office consumables such as tissue, hand wash, and cleaning materials.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed promptly.
  • Ensure all cleaning tools and supplies are properly stored after use.

Office Assistance and Support:

  • Assist in arranging and setting up meeting rooms for internal or external events.
  • Serve refreshments (tea, coffee, water, snacks) to staff and guests as required.
  • Handle photocopying, scanning, filing, and distribution of documents as directed.
  • Run errands within or outside the office (e.g., delivering documents, purchasing supplies, or dispatching parcels).
  • Support the Admin Officer in inventory and supplies management (stationery, cleaning materials, etc.).

Facility and Operational Support:

  • Ensure office furniture and equipment are properly arranged and kept in good condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness around the building’s entrance and immediate surroundings.
  • Support other departments during company programs, trainings, or special events.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety standards within the premises.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1yearof experience in cleaning, janitorial, or office support role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and neat appearance.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role; may require early arrival to prepare office for the day’s activities.

Salary 
N40,000 per month.
