We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Secretary / Admin Assistant

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • The Secretary / Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and clerical support to the Aviation Security (AVSEC) department.
  • The role involves managing correspondence, maintaining confidential records, coordinating departmental communication, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations in compliance with aviation security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Secretarial Support:

  • Provide secretarial support to the AVSEC Manager and other senior officers.
  • Prepare and type correspondence, memos, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and electronic) for all AVSEC documents.
  • Manage appointments, meetings, and schedules for management staff.
  • Assist in preparing and formatting official letters, audit reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.

Office Management:

  • Maintain records of staff rosters, attendance, and leave schedules.
  • Track and record training schedules, certifications, and permit renewals for AVSEC staff.
  • Maintain and replenish office supplies and AVSEC forms.
  • Support coordination of logistics for meetings, inspections, and staff deployments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Office Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant (aviation or security sector preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Salary
N70,00 - N100,000 Monthly.
