The firm provides FX execution, multi-currency payment and settlement services, and online trading access to a global client base. Job Title: Trading Desk Manager / Senior Trader

Job Summary
The company seeks skilled professionals to work from its Lagos office, serving clients across international markets
The Trading Desk Manager (or Senior Trader) will oversee and execute FX trading operations, (including, currencies, CFDs, commodities, and indices, equities, bonds, and fixed income, derivatives, ETFs, cryptocurrencies and mutual funds & hedge funds), manage client trades, and ensure optimal liquidity and profitability across all currency instruments.
He/she will monitor market trends, and ensure optimal trade execution.
The role involves supervising a trading team, managing client execution flow, monitoring market risk, and ensuring adherence to internal compliance and best execution standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execute spot FX, forwards, and related instruments for clients and proprietary accounts.
Monitor real-time market conditions, manage liquidity, and optimize execution strategies.
Supervise day-to-day operations of the trading desk and support junior traders.
Price, quote, and execute client trades while maintaining profit margins and market competitiveness.
Collaborate with the risk and operations teams to manage exposure, settlements, and reconciliations.
Provide daily trade and performance reports to management.
Build and maintain relationships with liquidity providers, brokers, and key institutional partners.
Train and mentor sales and call agents on market trends and product offerings.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, AML regulations, and trading best practices.
Develop and implement trade strategies that deliver consistent profitability.
Supervise trade operations, risk exposure, and client executions in real time.
Drive cross-market analysis and ensure best execution practices for client and proprietary trades.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in FX trading or financial markets.
Proven track record in managing client flow and achieving P&L targets.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
