Job Title: Team Lead, International Money Transfer Operator (IMTO) Partnerships
Key Responsibilities
Global Partnership Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute a global partnership strategy to identify, evaluate, and recruit new IMTO partners, significantly expanding the bank’s global remittance corridors and market access.
Lead the entire partnership lifecycle with executive oversight, from initial C-level outreach and strategic pitching to negotiating definitive commercial agreements and overseeing technical integration.
High-Stakes Negotiation & Commercial Acumen:
Lead complex, high-value negotiations on commercial terms, including fee structures, revenue-sharing agreements, and service level commitments with international C-level stakeholders.
Own the P&L for the IMTO partnerships channel, developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed ambitious revenue and transaction volume targets.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain powerful, productive relationships with key executive contacts at partner advocate and strategic liaison within the bank.
Conduct formal, data-driven business reviews with key partners to meticulously assess performance, navigate challenges, and unlock new, mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional & Market Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership and co-ordination with internal Operations, Treasury, Technology, and Compliance teams to guarantee the seamless and compliant integration of new partners.
Deliver critical market intelligence and partner feedback to internal teams to shape an enhance the bank’s remittance products and service offerings.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strategic Partner Acquisition: Exceed targets for the number of new, high-impact IMTO partnership agreements signed per quarter.
Remittance Volume & Value Growth: Achieve substantial, market-leading growth in the total volume and value of transactions processed through the IMTO partner network.
Revenue & Profitability Growth: Drive a significant increase in revenue and profitability generated from all IMTO partnerships.
Partner Satisfaction (NPS): Attain top-quartile satisfaction levels from key partners, cementing the bank’s status as the partner of choice.
Market Share Expansion: Materially increase the bank’s overall share of the inbound remittance market.
Required Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 7 years of extensive experience in business development or strategic partnerships, with a deep specialization in the financial services, remittance, or fintech industry.
A demonstrable and impressive track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex, multi-million-dollar commercial partnerships, specifically with C-level stakeholders.
Superior financial acumen with proven expertise in contract negotiation, P&L management, and financial modelling.
Exceptional interpersonal, executive presentation, and relationship-management skills, with a global business perspective.
