Role Summary

• The Audit Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing assurance engagements across diverse industries.
• The role involves ensuring the quality and timeliness of audit deliverables, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and technical development of the audit team.
• The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with sound judgment, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Help clients evaluate their tax positions and deliver sound advice based on applicable tax laws, regulations, and responsible tax practices.
• Review and analyze business structures, including multinational organizations, to identify tax and operational inefficiencies.
• Provide customized tax and strategic business solutions that address each client’s specific needs.
• Oversee multiple projects at once while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, tax authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead business development efforts and contribute to the firm’s overall strategic goals.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of relevant tax consulting experience in any of these areas: Consumer & Industrial Markets, Financial Services, Energy & Natural Resources, M&A, or Transfer Pricing.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across diverse industries.
• Strong business development acumen with sound financial, analytical, and accounting expertise.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills
• Strategic, client-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Exceptional research and report-writing skills with high attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with strong leadership and people development abilities.
