We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

• The Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting company personnel, materials, and documents between project sites, offices, and other designated locations.
• This role plays an essential part in supporting the daily operational logistics of the company’s real estate projects by ensuring punctual, reliable, and secure mobility.

Roles and Responsibilities
Transportation and Logistics:

• Drive company vehicles to transport staff, clients, and materials safely and on schedule.
• Plan efficient routes and ensure adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct routine checks to ensure vehicles remain in good working condition.
• Report faults or maintenance needs promptly to the transport or admin department.
• Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced, clean, and properly documented.

Safety and Compliance:

• Comply with all traffic regulations, company transport policies, and safety standards.
• Practice defensive driving and ensure the safety of passengers and materials.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or emergencies immediately.

Coordination and Communication:

• Work closely with administrative and logistics teams to plan transport schedules.
• Provide timely updates on trip status, vehicle availability, and operational issues.
• Maintain professionalism when representing the company externally.

Accountability:

• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and confidentiality in all driving assignments.
• Uphold integrity and demonstrate responsibility in handling company vehicles and assets.
• Compliance and Safety

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (Class B or higher) with a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or project-based environment.
• Certification in defensive or professional driving is an added advantage.

Working knowledge, skills and competencies and attributes:

• Excellent driving skills with sound knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to report faults promptly.
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to safe driving practices.

Salary
N100,000 / month.
