Job Description

• We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Shift Supervisor to oversee PVC pipe production operations.
• The ideal candidate will provide hands-on leadership to production teams, ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
• This role requires strong technical understanding of extrusion processes, excellent people management skills, and the ability to maintain productivity and discipline across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• The PVC Pipe Production Shift Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all production activities during assigned shifts to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations.
• Responsibilities include planning and monitoring daily production targets, supervising extrusion processes, and ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
• The role involves leading and motivating shift teams, managing material usage, minimizing downtime and waste, ensuring proper machine operation and maintenance coordination, and maintaining accurate production documentation and reports.
• The Supervisor will also enforce compliance with company policies, promote continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure seamless communication across shifts to achieve production efficiency and consistent product quality.

• Reports to: Production Manager.
• Direct Reports: Compounding Supervisor, Extrusion Machine Operator, Grinder / Pulverisor Operator
• Key Collaborations: Production, Operations, Quality Control, Maintenance, Inventory, Supply Chain

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related technical field (a technical diploma with proven experience may be considered
• Proven experience as a Production Shift Supervior, Team Lead or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to identify and resolve people issues efficiently and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining product consistency and quality.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with people managementtechniques.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and other relevant software for
• record-keeping and reporting.

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 / Month
