We supply a wide range of cross infection control products. Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) - North (Medical Consumable)
Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Kano

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager (North)
Description
As an Area Sales Manager, he/she will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and achieving sales targets within his/her assigned territory.
His/her role involves building relationships with customers, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of the region's sales plan and strategies, and driving revenue for the organization.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the assigned territory.
Identify market opportunities, potential customers, and key accounts for sales expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including retailers, distributors, and partners.
Lead, coach, and mentor sales teams to maximize their performance and productivity.
Monitor their progress.
Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions for sales staff.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and sales collateral.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote products and services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.
Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and regulations.
Provide feedback to the regional manager on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner with the guide or attention of the regional sales manager.
Stay informed about industry developments, product innovations, and emerging market trends.
Product Knowledge & Clinical Engagement: Conduct compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training for sales/clinical staff.
Maintain an expert-level understanding of our product portfolio and its clinical applications.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years sales experience in healthcare industry with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences.
A Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the medical consumable industry or the pharmaceuticals segment
Candidate must reside in or close to Abuja and be well familiar with the Northern states' business environment
